A sad cycle of intolerance. This is a generational chaos in the family. Hardly any issues when the dads-in law are visiting, but not same with the women.
Even Hollywood did a flick about this; MONSTER-IN-LAW. Just to underline the problem with the women folk.

Women love to rule in their territories, not many people are welcomed uninvited in the bedroom and kitchen, especially the paternal mother-in-law.

I absolutely don’t have any comment about the attitude of women, but rather about the strengths of men who tolerate them over years.
To think the wife took exception to the mother-in-law’s gesture feeding the kids, suggest the husband is not man enough!
