Iniesta back in training with Barca

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta trained for the first time since injuring his leg more than two weeks ago.

Barcelona says the Spain international practiced with the rest of his teammates for a part of Friday's session.

Iniesta injured a muscle in his left thigh during a 2-2 Champions League draw with AC Milan on September 13. The 27-year-old midfielder was ruled out for one month at the time.



Defender Carles Puyol trained apart from the team after picking up a knock in Wednesday's 5-0 Champions League victory at BATE Borisov.

Barcelona remains without injured forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Ibrahim Affelay, who is scheduled for knee surgery on Monday.

The Spanish champion's next match is a league game at Sporting Gijon on Sunday.
