Mr.Governor please don't destroy the respect I have for you, your government should  contact the international communities not to release any money for anybody who claim to represent this people and if there is any aid coming in for them through your government, please give it to them now.

I believe you can help them to erect modern structures on the same waterfront, Chinese and Japenese building engineers knows how to construct on water, I know it will cost your government nothing to do that for them cos MAKOKO IS AN ANCIENT WATERFRONT . Then you can make a programme for them on how much they will be paying every month to buy the houses in a cheaper price, each appartment's price must not be more than 200,000.

He does not deserve any respect. He is a wicked man.

Every Nigerian politician is a barbarian. How can you give 72 hour eviction notice? These are productive citizens trying to survive. They did not steal or loot the treasury like these politicians. Yes the area may need to be eradicated but you don’t get rid of someone from his or her domain in 72 hours. You have children that are affected. This is draconian, cruel and sadistic. These people live in abject poverty. The action of the so called good governor is…ANIMALISTIC. He could have made a better arrangement and gradually resettle them but he is power drunk. This is sad. Ladies and gentlemen the more reason we have to do something collectively and stop attacking each other. The so called governor does not care he is resting playing with his wife in an air-conditioned abode tonight and the Maroko residents are homeless. The so called animals will behave humanely.

I don’t care attitude of our politicians will continue as long as we don’t do something. Thoughtless and gumption less governor just like the president. They are all the same. “Bunch of Sadists”

Lagos is too congested. It is a shame some people lost their homes, but i agree with fashola destroying the buildings. If you cant afford to live in Lagos, move to other states.  Nothing is constant but change.
