Academic exam is not necessary for success, because we are surrounded by open-ended problems in real life. Stress and anxiety is very common as a consequence of examinations preparation and pressures from teachers and lecturers towards students. Exams should be held when needed, maybe after few classes and when needed to rate the progress of the students.

Examination success is the key that opens more doors to opportunities. If you can't manage the stress and distractions and pressure of an exam how can you manage all that X2 plus responsibilities at a workplace? Am not surprised that they did so bad in English....am sure they wrote in pidgin and text format and don't even know.

but mehn for those of us who has been in western countries or asians countries there system of education is not as hard as it is in naija but they are progressive, here in western countries and some part of asians country student are been begged and pampered to study and yet they are doing well, they have good economy and good leaders and they are ruling the world. but in naija the case is different. i think many things is responsible for our student failure, some teachers maltreat the children that was giving to them so bad that those student lose confidence in them. i believe naija student are not lazy
