it is very unfortunate on how low Africans have looked down on nigerians.  These are countries that successive nigerian govt have spent nigerian resources both human and materials to ameliorate, including human sacrifices in the name of peace keeping.  i see these hostile behaviour as inferiority complex in them

this hypocracy about the image of nigeria being rubbished must stop. i recall that Nigeria used to be the jaint of africa, then the sleeping jaint and now the sick jaint. everyone is running ahead of us. nigeria is being rebranded by stealing our money, lack of electricity, insecurity, schools strike not to mention the numerous infrasturactural decays in our school, infant mortality and deaths arising from simple treatable deseases, indispline, thuggery, election rigging and a host of other problems too numerous to mention. people are dying in the mist of plenty. how on earth can you complain if we are charactarised as savage and babaric. Obasanjo and his likes are responsible for most of these problems and must bear the humuliation of people adopting their names to depict our nation. stop this complain to sony and fix yourselves first but not by rebranding but by being selfish, dishonest, insincere and deceptive

I keep telling people that madam,Dora Akunyili doesn't know her a job.If you want to re brand Nigeria,she must first re-brand the state of mind of Nigerian especially those in the ministries...If the movie District 9 portrayed Nigerians as Aliens and prostitutes are those not the things that are conversant in our environment?Are our leaders not aliens?Politicians killing people for rituals and our ladies sleeping around like dogs...I will always give kudos to the director of this movie,because by the time we found about all those information that was been given to the director,some Nigerians that want to liberate our mind to shows us the mess we leave in  knows about the making of this movie,especially,Nigeria in diaspora.

oh plssssssssssss.. can nigerians be a little wiser.. i'm surprised to see Nigerians compare nollywood actors/actresses who actually act out whats going on in Naij to these ludicrous people.... so what if they show the ritual killings and all that in nollywood movies... is it not true?... is that a reason for Nigeria to be portrayed as a country filled with cannibals? The name of an actual president was used.. Obasanjo... which other country has experienced a similar event in the past? It's simple.... Nigeria is ours... in the same way we can make statements and insult our own.... we wouldnt want anyone to do so... this movie is aired for the world to see... it's a hollywood movie... if we cant kick against it... then... do you think anyone is interested in nigeria? The image of the country is already tarnished... lets build it up....
