WOW: Majek Fashek Returns To Stage At Carniriv 2014 After Long Time

Nigerian reggae legend, Majek Fashek, who has been missing on stage for a long time now, will be thrilling his fans once again as he performs at this year’s Carniriv, which kicked off yesterday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.



Majek will be performing alongside fellow reggae star including Ras Kimono, renowned for his unique Rumba Style genre.
Other artistes slated to thrill the audience at the carnival which runs from 12 to 20 December, includes Davido, Timaya, Pato Ranking, Run Town, Phyno and Terry G, amongst others.

Director General of the Rivers State Tourism Development Agency (RSTDA) Dr. Sam Dede, made this revelation during the week. He said, the fusion of young and fresh faces with iconic musical role models aptly captures the essence of Carniriv, a carnival conceptualised to appeal to different interest groups and demographics within and outside the African continent.

The carnival kicked off yesterday with the debut Miss Carniriv pageant designed to crown the official face of the carnival in a contest that has attracted close to a hundred entries from within and outside the state.

This is a lesson for all, weed, crack, Cocaine and other hard drugs can ruin someone's career. If you are cooked on any of these you may never remain the same again. Learn a life lesson from this guy and I hope he comes out clean this time. Stay away from cocaine,and weed, say NO to drugs
