MY FIRST AND ONLY EXPERIENCE WITH THE NPF
I was at my place of work on that fateful day when my boss
instructed me to take care of one of the computer in the
office that is malfunctioning. After thorough trouble
shooting, I discovered that its fault is as a result of virus &
the only solution for the system was to formatting. I tried to
format the system but the operating system I was using
couldn't load a particular file; prompting change.
I rushed into the nearby software and computer accessories
store, I got a new one but when I got back to the office the
software wasn't responding at all. After so many trials
without any positive change, I went back to where I bought
it for it to be changed but the seller refused changing it &
also refused to return my money which was actually my last
card. After being frustrated by the guy for over 30 minutes, I
decided to do it in a hardman way cos I was indeed too
gentle. I walked into the store and took softwares worth
thousands more than my money, tried going out with them
but the guy prevented me from going out with resulted into a
fight between me & him. He felt he is going to beat the hell
out of me cos of my gentle & skinny appearance. I
overpowered him & gave him the beating of his life which
didn't go down well with his neighbour and friend who was
there at that moment. His friend tried attacking me with a
bottle but not knowing that situations don't get better of me.
I was beating the guy and was as alert as a cat. When he
felt am so into the fight, he tried hitting me with the bottle
which I saw quickly & defended myself with the head of his
friend. I threw his friend at him and successfully
overpowered both of them before people intervened which
was exactly what I prayed for cos am faced with a bigger
challenge (2 against 1). The fight was separated & I returned
to my office without my money or the software but I was
feeling satisfaction to the fullest cos of what I did to the
guys. About 30 minutes later the NPF arrived at my office &
tried to attack me in their usual manner; even accused me
of breaking into a shop to steal something when the shop
owner tried to stop me I decided to destroy his goods and
ran away.
That accusation got my head ticking like a time bomb and I
attacked them back, questioning their mode of my arrest
before they could realize what was about to happen I raised
alarm that some people are trying to kidnap me with police
uniform & patrol van. Fortunately for me, the rate of
kidnapping in ph was at its peak that period. I refused to be
handcuffed, refused going with them. They became
confused when I started using the law against them I tried
calling my uncle who was formally a senior officer at the
station they claimed to come from, they tried stopping me
but I used the law again to prevail & was allowed to make
my call afterwards. My uncle told me to give the phone to
one of them but all refused which prompted me to change
my speaker mode to loud speaker he introduced himself &
when they heard his voice they told him I broke into a store
and destroyed everything there and also broke the store
keeper's head and he is hospitalized. My uncle knowing me
so well debunked the accusations & ordered that they should
let me go & make sure my money was refunded. They
agreed and allowed the call to end but didn't do as agreed.
Instead of taking me to the station, they took me to their
checkpoint cos my uncle called the dpo there to inform him
of my plight. They kept me at the checkpoint until they got
the info that the dpo is tired of waiting & has gone home.
Unfortunately for them when they felt the road was clear,
they took me to the station. During those hours at the
checkpoint I kept on creating scenes by quoting & using the
law against them. The officer that d dpo handed my case
over to didn't know me & I didn't know him too. It was
around 8pm that he saw me sitting by d counter and asked
who I was and I told him, he said he has been calling my line
but it's switched off and I told him that his colleagues took
my phone. He called them, retrieved my phone & my money
but I refused to take it unless they pay me for wasting my
day else I will sue them for kidnapping and breach of rights.
They ended up paying extra #500 which I also refused but
later collected after the interference of other officers who
understood the legal implications of their action. I was damn
so luck cos but it was all cos I know my rights.
