It was indeed a fruitless search by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when it raided the residence of the former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibrin in Anyigba, Kogi State. The EFCC’s operatives led by DSP Madaki broke open a soak-away pit and the celling of the house, but the exercise did not yield any fruit.

Recall that on 24th November last year, the rented apartment of the former Service Chief was also raided and his property destroyed.

Vanguard quoted an eye witness as saying that, “fierce looking EFCC staff stormed Jibrin’s house in Anyigba, they broke the sewage tanks and ceiling but found nothing.

“The visibly looking dejected staffers of the EFCC left the area unnoticed after nothing incriminating was found.”
