Members of State Houses of Assembly, controlled by the All Progressives Congress (APC), have issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Buhari-led Federal Government to re-arrest the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu or face a nationwide protest. According to Daily Sun, while addressing newsmen in Abuja, the lawmakers said they cannot sit back and allow Kanu plunge the country into another civil war. They said Kanu has breached all his bail conditions and is jeopardising the peace and security of the country. The media briefing, which had in attendance the Speaker of Jigawa State House of Assembly, Idris Garba, was presided over by a member of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Kassim Muhammed. Operating under the name Democratic Youth Congress for Buhari 2019, the lawmakers said: “We are giving the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum to arrest the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu or we shall mobilise Nigerians against his treacherous menace. “We will not sit on the fence and watch the actions of one man plunge our country into an avoidable civil war. Enough is enough. We have had enough. “We therefore give the Federal Government this ultimatum to re-arrest Kanu who has breached all his bail conditions and is jeopardising the peace and security of this country. “If our demands are not met, we shall call for an urgent general meeting of all the youth groups and tribal associations for a unanimous decision on what to do regarding this.”

(jeopardising the peace and security of this country.) ;peace and securirty in the zoo indeed.its obvious that u ppl dont know the meaning of the word (peace) and (security) in that part of world.yes,he should be arrested just cos he is and igbo man and he calls a spade by its name.while the fulani herdsmen should be celebrated for killings,rappings,memming of ppl cos they are hausa fulani and they owns the zoo.u ppl should stop decieving gullible nigerians.im not a fan of kanu or anybody,but its obvious that there are ppl in naija that does whatever they likes and ur types dont come out and ask for their arrest. wasted set of old fools in the zoo.

Ignorant law makers. Was Nnamdi Kanu not on bail? It is the duty of the Court to raise issues concerning Kanu's absence since he has not been declared missing. In the alternative, there are people who are to suffer for Kanu's disappearance, and not this motley crowd. Operatives of Python Dance were never given Orders to arrest Kanu. I don't see how Kanu's disappearance can cause any more havoc.
