One of the most prominent pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, in the USA, Pastor Tola Odutola, has resigned from the Church.

Pastor Odutola, who is the senior Pastor of Jesus House Baltimore, cited lack of care from the church in his 30 years of service.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

In a viral video, Pastor Odutola refused to divulge direct details of his reason for his decision, but revealed he had served RCCG for 30 years without receiving anything in return.

Odutola announced on Sunday his church would run independently, attracting applause from the congregation, before adding he was prepared to face backlash on social media for his decision.

Odutola was the founding Chairman of the Redeemer’s Leadership Institute, RLI, according to the website of Jesus House Baltimore

RLI is “the Leadership arm of the Redeemed Christian Church of God North America (RCCGNA) which provides continuous training for Religious Leaders worldwide.”

An inevitable End. Some of these : so called Great Houses of God, are nothing but glorified Business empires of their Founders. While dedicated men toiled and spend their lives trying to make these so called Business Empires work, the Founders are busy and planning how their children will inherit the Business, with their eyes closed to the fate of those that have sacrificed their lives to the growth if the glorified Business Centres.

Which one is RUN INDEPENDENTLY? if he wants to retire or resign from RCCG no problem, but run as a breakaway with RCCG assets is malicious criminal intent. People brain are so myopic not to see that there are bigger pictures in servitude, the Apostles were in servitude to Jesus but it was to train them for independent missions, christian of these days take a fellow man as their spiritual father instead of jesus, and allow thaty man instruct their life and future instead of asking Jesus, so if it results in ZOMBISM, na your own be that.

So it took you 30 long years to realise this? It is jaw dropping when one sees presumably intelligent and enlightened people in the diaspora like this being equally gullible to the deceit of these commercial centres claiming to be churches. Well, I must tell you, you did get benefits from your service. You got the pride and joy of seeing your GO use your sweat and tithings to fly a private jet.

May God forgive you because, I attended his church here in the US RCCG branch. This pastor and his wife benefited financially from this church ---- they get paid from every single sweat and gains that comes of the church. His wife is the principle of the school build by hard earn members and got paid. RCCG church made this pastor and his entire family here in the United States. His reason for leaving per these comments are full of lies.

This pandemic must have played a role on his decisions because, they couldn't endure hardship but they will advice their members to keep HANGING on.
