Frederick Shaibu, the younger brother of the Edo State Deputy Governor has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

Shaibu was kidnapped on Tuesday while taking his kids to school in Irhiri, Benin-City.

As at the time of filing this report, Shaibu’s abductors are yet to contact his family.

The State Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.

“I am not aware of this development yet but I will find out and get back to you,” he told Nation.
