normal card for bday gift is ok but if goes out of that area to express some other feelings it is wrong.
a man must respect his wife more especially when you know that it will hurt her feelings.

dk it depend on the type of card,a single lady has no right to send a married man a birthday card in form of romantic.i guess you understand what i'm trying to say here..the card that's ok  is a joke card.
