The management of a Texas hotel in the U.S. has been accused of calling police operatives to shut down a cultural event held by Nigerians from Mbaise community at one of their halls. A man was heard in the background saying that they paid for the hall and the management of Westin Hotel in Irvine, Texas, waited till the event started, to invite the police to shut it down.

A source who sent the video to LIB wrote;

“This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad... let’s build our country... We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad.”

Playing the victim card again. The hall was overcrowded and the hotel management had to do the needful. The crowd inside the hall was more than the occupancy number for the hall. This is like having more than the original number, show up.
