A Nigerian lady has opened up after losing her job in the UK for telling her boss 'sorry'.
The lady with the handle, @deeglam_varieties took to her Tiktok page to explain what happened.
According to her, Nigerians traveling overseas should strive to do away with their attitude of saying sorry at home.
@deeglam_varieties said that she worked a night shift and spent her time in the office lounge pressing her phone to avoid falling asleep.
The following day, her employer accused her of sleeping on the job, which surprised her. Instead of telling her supervisor the truth, @deeglam_varieties repeatedly apologized and went home.
That same day, she received an email alerting her that she had been fired. The development was a cultural shock for her.
