Jamaican TikTok star Xavier Fogah, known as "Niah Gang," was fatally shot on Saturday, December 7, while livestreaming on TikTok in Panton Lane, St. Catherine. Fogah, only 23 years old, had garnered a substantial following of over 200,000 for his content.
The livestream turned horrifying when gunshots were heard during a TikTok match with another individual.
Both Fogah and the other man fled the scene in an apparent attempt to escape the danger. Sadly, Fogah did not survive the ordeal.
Sadly, Fogah was later found dead, while the other man reportedly escaped without injury.
The news has stunned the TikTok community, with many fans expressing shock and grief. One user wrote, “This can’t be real all now mi can’t believe bro mi feel it fam me a tell you.”
Others recalled a previous livestream in which a pastor had prayed for Fogah, warning him about potential betrayals from friends—a chilling moment in light of his untimely death.
Fogah was known for his unique lyrical-free style and positive outlook, having shared his ambition to be wealthy by 2025 in one of his final posts. His passing has also left behind a young daughter, deepening the sadness surrounding this loss.
