I WONDERED WHERE WE ARE HEADING  TO, DURING THE TIME OF MY ELDER BROTHERS, IN 1980S/1990'S, WHEN STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE MOBILE PHONES NOT TO TALK OF BLACKBERRY PHONES, WHEN STUDENTS ARE VERY SERIOUS WITH THEIR STUDIES... WHAT ABOUT NOW?, ALMOST EVERY NIGERIAN YOUTH HAS FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND SOME HAD AN ACCOUNT IN OTHER NETWORKING SITES, MOST OF THE GIRLS STUDENT ARE SERIOUSLY INTO RELATIONSHIP, NO MORE TIME FOR READING, NO MORE CONSUMING NOVELS, THEY HAD TURNED BRITISH ENGLISH INTO AMERICAN ENGLISH. I AM TOTALY CONFUSED WITH THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM OF EDUCATION. I THINK MY KIDS WILL NOT STUDY IN NIGERIA. I AM NOT MUCH EDUCATED BUT I THINK I AM BRILLIANT. I PRAYED. MAY GOD HELP US.

TO SOME IT COULD BE BOYFRIEND, 2GO ETC. BUT HOW ABOUT THOSE WHO READ DAY AND 9T BUT STILL FAIL. I MEAN, WAEC IS NOT A TRUE TEST OF KNOWLEDGE

his their teachers not the student that fail cos 99** of the exams were writen by their teachers.student now relying mostly for the help of their teacher and instead of reading they rather facebooking,twittering nd all aspect of chatting u can ever think of u we found then their.well too bad for d country.

Na wawo! This people turned us to somthing else, bcos they using us to generate what they want, since they cant pass us al, why not to admitt the requred they wnt to pass

75% blames goes to government.15% to teachers and 10% to student.

10% to the government 20% to the teachers and 70% to their parent. why because when they are suppose to read they will be busy with the social network imagine a secondary school student bring a B.B to school to do what when class is on, courtesy of their parent and they are expect to pass their exam without malpractice impossible.

Our education should go bact to its normal 6yr for pry 1, children who can't cope are d ones failing imagine 11yr old stting for waec what do u expect, how old are u when u write urs.......??
