Why Do Men Think women's Politeness Means they are Interested in Them?

Please your opinion is needed !
Some women are very friendly and polite and just because of that some men thinks oh, she likes me and I believe she wants to date me? Has it ever happened to you ? or what is your view about it ?

                                                                        TAKE EVERY EXPRESSION TO BE OFFICIAL
                                                                        DO ONLY WHAT IS NECCESSARY AND ADD NO EXTRAs.
