Three drunk men

The three guy were drunk, so they went out to look for a cab, they entered one and told him their destination, the driver saw that dey were drunk, then he started the engine of the car and  switched it off. And told them (we don reach) one of them told him thank you, the other one paid him, the third person slapped him. The driver thought he knew what he did, he now asked him (wetin happen?) the guy replied and said; next time drive carefully, you almost killed us.
