Yes it is. He gave her a black eye and split lip when she asked him about a text message that came true on his phone some some girl. They got into an argument and he beat her up. They did not attend the grammy's and radio stations are pulling out Chris B's song from their song list because he is not a good role model for kids anymore and he turned himself in to the LAPD and was released on a $50,000 bail.

The 911 operators received a call from a woman who claimed to have been beaten up by Chris Brown...they never released the ladies' name and Rihanna has confirmed that it wasn't her, and that she herself is still in confusion as to what really happened. Anyways, they were both supposed to perform at a concert but canceled the shows for the night without saying why. He is still being investigated and everyone is busy spreading their own rumors..lol, so far i have heard that...........she gave him herpes, he found out about other guys..she was mad about gurls constantly calling his phone..and blah blah. Anyways so far this is what they know..it ain't Rihanna and the women is being kept anonymous until further notice.

Oh pls!!! it's true and it's been confirmed thatits rihanna!!! According to the witness ( the gal who called 911) , it wasnt rihanna who called 911, it was the gal!!! It so happens that rir and cb broke up 2 wks ago! but their record company asked them to keep acting as if they are together...and cb already has another gf so he and rir went together to the clive's pre-grammy party and he told her that he has a date with his gf and that he is picking her up! he asked rir to find her way home and he packed the car, waiting for the girl and rir got angry and grabbed the keys from cb.. she threw it out and the gal said she hit cb on the face and started yelling and he hit her back several times....the gal's name is Keisha Chante! She's a singer and she's playing Aaliyah in the new movie!!! thats the report by Lapd! It was on CNN! but they are still looking for clues since riri had a different story!!! and the herpes story is also in it!! Riri supposedly gave CB herpes!! and thats y they broke up!!!

hris Brown has taken a gamble on Las Vegas.
E! News has learned that Brown, who is being investigated by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office for allegedly beating up his R&B star girlfriend, Rihanna, is holed up at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas. He's staying in a suite on an upper floor of the hotel.
According to a Sin City source, "They had to kick out any paparazzi that were around and get him tons of security to sneak him in."
"We cannot confirm that Chris is staying with us," a Hard Rock spokesman tells E! "However, several of his friends are staying on [the] property."
There has been much speculation as to the 19-year-old Brown's whereabouts since he was seen leaving an L.A. jail Sunday night after being booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He had been spotted at a West Hollywood hotel and there was an unconfirmed report he had flown to be with his family in Georgia.
His case was turned over to the D.A.'s office Tuesday morning; prosecutors have asked for further investigation into the incident before they decide whether to press charges.

All these controversies and different sides to the story!! All ur answers are straight from the media so none can be 100% accurate...especially when the media likes to spice things up and make it all dramatic just to increase channel views and well, prove the real definition of "Gossip"!.
The real story i guess has to come from Ri, CB and the third party. So...we'll see.
