34-Yr-Old Man, Ainsley Johnson Bites Off Police Officer's Middle Finger Then Swallows It (Photo)

A man has been nabbed and is being made to pay for his criminal act after biting off a police officer's finger and swallowing it. A 34-year-old man identified as Ainsley Johnson is accused of biting off an NYPD police officer's finger and swallowing it as he was being arrested for vandalism.

 
According to Reporters, Ainsley Johnson allegedly chewed off part of the officer's left middle finger inside a Brooklyn police station on Friday night.
 
The incident unfolded when Johnson got into a fight with the 24-year-old officer as he tried to handcuff him on criminal mischief charges. Johnson started struggling as he was being escorted to a cell at the 69th Precinct in Canarsie and the two fell on the floor. He then allegedly tore into the officer's finger, biting it off from the nail to the tip. 
 
Police said after Johnson bit the officer's finger off, he swallowed it before authorities got a chance to try and retrieve it. The officer was taken to hospital for treatment.  Johnson was charged with assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.  He was arrested earlier for an incident in which he allegedly kicked the rear passenger door and windows of a man's BMW.
 
Johnson also allegedly destroyed the victim's mailbox with a cement planter. He has a lengthy arrest history having been taken into custody for molesting a woman in Queens in 2008.
 
His other previous run ins with police relate to driving without a license, forgery and resisting arrest.
