It seems the annual battle between Tonto Dikeh and her ex-Husband, Olakunle Churchill has renew again for the 6th year running. With Tonto Dikeh insisting the son's name will be Kind Andre Dikeh whilst Olakunle Churchill insisting his name is King Andre Omodayo Churchill.
The parents wished him happy birthday in their own different an unique wasy, this is the message from the dad, Olakunle Churchill

Tonto dike is just playing a foolish childish game with the son. When he grow up, as educated person he will definitely adopt his real surname and not dikey.

Well that is the choice of the son to make.
However, based on the traditions of the Igbos and Ikweres, once a bride price has been returned and is accepted by the groom's family, any child consummated in the marriage ceases to belong to the father.
So my bottom line is what has been done?
All said and done, the child still has the choice to make when he grows up and sorry to say this from my experience (after seeing such cases play out) if the boy stays with his mother from childhood to adulthood he will be so brainwashed that he will have little or nothing to do with his dad. Most cSes it is the girl child that has the tendency of looking for her dad

.. ALTHOUGH, YOU JUDGED CORRECT AT LEAST BY IGBO TRADITION BUT BY AFRICAN TRADITION, A CHILD BELONG TO THE FATHER. A CHILD TEND TO HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FATHER IF THERE WAS HISTORY OF HIM BEING A BAD OR VIOLENT MAN. IN THIS CASE THERE ARE VIDEOS EVIDENCE KEPT EVERYWHERE, YOUTUBE FOR EXAMPLE, THAT THE FATHER IS NOT AS BAD AS HE HAS BEEN PAINTED OR DESCRIBED. ALL THE SAME THE CHOICE IS OPENED FOR HIM TO MAKE IN FUTURE WHICH I REALLY DOUBT BECAUSE HER MOTHER,S FAMILY MAY TEND TO PORTRAY HIM AN UNGRATEFUL SON IF HE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE SURNAME TO CHURCHILL
