Following appeals by opposition candidates, the senatorial election of these senators have been nullified by the election tribunal in their respective states:
Gilbert Nnaji (PDP) - Enugu East Sen. District
Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP) - Abia South Sen. District
Bashir Marafa (PDP) - Taraba Central Sen. District
Buruji Kashamu (PDP) - Ogun East Sen. Dist.
Sani Danladi (PDP) - Taraba North
Athan Achonu (PDP) - Imo North
