OK...DID JESUS OWNED A BOAT? DID JESUS OWNED A DONKEY? OR DID HE COLLECT MONEY OR GATHERED MONEY FROM HIS FOLLOWERS TO BUY ONE OF THOSE? WHY DID JESUS NOT TELL HIS DISCIPLES TO GATHER MONEY FOR HIM SO THAT HE CAN BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION THEN,? WHICH IS HORSE'S AND CHARIOTS LIKE THE ONE THE ROMAN CHIEFS AND RULERS USE TO HELP HIM SPREAD HIS MINISTRY??..IM ASKING YOU DID HE?? IF YOU CAN GIVE ME AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTIONS I WILL TRY AND AGREE WIT THE PURCHASE OF JETS ...IF NOT, THIS MEN OF GODS ARE NOT CHRIST LIKE..OR PROOF ME WRONG...I RESPECT TB JOSHUA FOR HIS HUMILITY,,,

Do you know the cost of private jet maintenance? It cost between $20 million to $100 million to own and maintain one private jet for 10 years. That is enough to feed about 20,000 needy families in Nigeria for 10 years. The cost of this Aircraft and huge cost of maintenance would’ve been used for scholarships for intelligent poor folks and building hospitals and charities that Church is known for just like the missionaries did. Why can't they help these ppl as God planned tithes for rather than making church to be only about money, money, money with that not going to the needy but to pastors. Flaunting riches wasn’t isn’t a part of a true Christian ministry.

Please ask him again. He didn't even answer cuz he and many others don't know most Nigerian pastors are dubious & unholy. There are many qualifications to be crowned a “true” man of God". You have to  have 1. LOVE – KINDNESS, CARE, CONCERN SYMPATHY, EMPATHY, COMPASSION When people speak of you as a man of God, the words like: kindness, care, concern, sympathy, etc…, should be used to describe your Character. 2. COOPERATION, SUPPORT, HELPER, TEAMWORKER men who put cooperation before competition, and are a helper/ supporter of their congregation. Helping those in need. But in Nigeria the profits we Nigerians call man of God will rather compete in who buys the most private jets among their peers & including the polithiefcians than to show concern, support & be a helper for their poor church members. Naija polithifcians and profits are all the same. Its too bad for those people who are so dumb as to pay for jets when they themselves have nothing.
Romans 2:21&22 says, 21. you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22. You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? Simply, how can you have respect for someone who says one thing and does another? Most of Naija pastors are guilty of most of these rules. There are many other qualifications of being a man of God. And Most Naija pastors don’t pass them either.

SO MANY OF THEM CALLING THEMSELF PASTORS IN NIG DNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO PREACH THE WORD OF GOD. I DNT THINK MOST OF THEM EVER READ I
 THE BOOK TIMOTHY 3 - 1 TO 16.
THE CHURCHES IN WHICH SURPOSE TO BE PLACE OF WORSHIP HAS TURN TO MARKET . I WISH SO CALL PASTORS IN NIG CAN READ IN THE BOOK MATT 21 - 12 DOWN ,

Prosperity Pastors .treating Jesus like a lottery ticket,”they’re only proof that Satan comes as an angel of light.”.It’s called self-ism, the fastest growing religion / They just dress it up and call it Christian,” is really sad how Nigerians like to justify the extravagant lifestyle of pastors. I am a christian and believe 100% in the course of Christianity, . I also think its due to this opulent lifestyle that even breeds more corruption as our politicians steal money to come and give them which they collect without admonishing. Church is now competition and business. In the past, we knew missionaries to be philanthropic, and missionary schools to provide free education, but today, the schools of these churches are the most expensive, making it difficult for even their poor congregation to afford.  In a country where many people live below the poverty line, They do not give anything back to the society despite all that is given to them. Church is now serious business. may God help us Christians to live a Godly life in Jesus Name Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Well Said! I'm Not so Convinced A Jet is so Necessary to determine the effectiveness of a Man Of God, but the purchase like those of Oristejafor is one that’s alarming. It’ll be great if our 'Men of God' speak up more against Corruption by our leaders. The Nation is ROTTEN and souls are indeed wasting away, yet what ppl hear from most pulpits on Sunday is 'Prosperity, Prosperity, Prosperity', with hardly any word on Decency & Morality. Prosperity is Good.. BUT; "What Shall It Profit A Man if He GAINS The World And LOSSES His Own Soul"Huh? The pastors are lucky fellows indeed having millions of followers who gladly give away money they don't have in order to find salvation. Yet, the poor members can't ride in the GO's porche cars; enroll in their universities/private schools; live in their palatial estates; and their offerings unendingly inflate the church purses. If the GEJ refuse to help Nigerians, how and why do we end up being helpless by our supposed heaven-ordained GODS of MEN.

"When you have to oversee churches in 160
countries, you can’t do that on a bicycle,”

On point!
What really is his role as a G.O? Does it also include tourism?? I mean what does he mean by he needs a private jet because he is G.O of a church in over 160 countries??? Does he need to visit them so often that he now needs a jet?? If that’s the case then he must be a tourist as well. If that airplane is used for his church business then it is not "private". You don’t need a private jet to oversee from one country to another. There’s are airlines available to do so.
