72-years old woman raped to death in Abia State

A 72-year-old mother of four, Cecilia Ogidi-Okereke, of Ibom Village in Arochukwu, Abia was raped to death on Sunday by a 32-year-old man nicknamed Ochu.

A source told the News Agency of Nigeria in Aba, Abia that the deceased went to fetch fodder for her goats around 5 p.m. in a nearby bush when she was trailed by Ochu to where he raped her to death.

The source said the man, a notorious Indian hemp smoker, was known for trailing and molesting women in the area.
