Hey my wife has always been more comfortable with male friends all her life and that didn't stop me from getting married to her. I will not say am not a jealous guy but I chose to trust her.

I see this has a threat to marriage.. dont think its a good idea.

why is it a threat?..so basically you're saying that once  married,... I should get rid of my childhood and classmates friends that are males??..I don't see anything wrong with that as long as your spouse knows about them and your history with them. I've got male friends since elementary through now and i will not even think about ditching them at all..these ppl have become like families to me and marriage would not change a thing.

babe u re absolutely stop on. God bless u child.

this shows you the level hypocrisy among Nigerians in particular. whatever make u men think u could but ur wives cant. and that's why i ve always advice our young ladies pls don't allow yourselves to be coaxed or intimidated into marriage not anymore. if u must get married pls get married to a friend i mean ur best friend, the one who understands u, who trust u. and that's why i always say courtship is very important cos it help u to see  how compatible u both can be. yes if go into marriage when both of u re not compatible you 'll only end up merely tolerating each other and i assure one party must be suffering more in such a relationship and its mostly the women. but however i also advice u ladies pls let whatever u have with the others be strictly friendship and nothing more pls don't give ur spouse any reason to doubt or question ur faithfulness. its my opinion dont know about urs.

depends on what kinda husbands u are getting.....men can be very very jealous....
i disagree wit u....cos women can be selfish or can even melt on the process, and then she will start to see what her friend is doing for her or to another gal, which her husband cannot archive Grin Grin Grin i will advice married women to mmake friends with also married once,on husband notice....not secretoooooo!!!! Personally i do not take it funny..... so it is a no go area OK. Let us assume that the past has gone and ........for ever, but not in my house.

It is not a good idea at all.  Women can not have the type of male friends she had before she got married.  Nor, can men have the type of women friends he had before he got married.  The relationship that each had with the opposite sex has to now be different to safe-guard the marriage...plain and simple.  Anyone of the opposite sex that pushes for more should be kept at a distance.  Spending time joking, playing, flirting and then spending time alone with that same person is opening the door to plenty temptation and unwanted trouble.

The Bible asks who can put hot flames on their chest and not be burned?  The answer...no one.
