What about Brigadier Shehu Musa Yar'Adua detained by Abacha and eventually died or killed in detention?
What about Kudirat Abiola who was murdered in a broad day-light?
What about Dele Giwa who was murdered when Babangida was in power? Babangida’s vice was Abacha.
What about the billions he looted and kept in the western world?
What you are saying is; it is ok to be sadistic just like Abacha was.

![-]( "papadip") papadip at 3-03-2014 01:11 AM (10 years ago) (m) He was a hero.He was not perfect.No one is perfect.In his time,he removed Nigeria from the shackles of International Monetary Fund(IMF),International Bank for Reconstruction and Development(IBRD,WORLD BANK) and their worrisome conditionalities which are the modern days tools of economic slavery.The Western world killed him for that.Though he had some human right problems,all soldiers do,I strongly believe Nigeria would have been a better place economically if he was not killed.He deserve the honour. He did not succumb to the western world and yet he stole billions of dollars and stashed this loot in their banks.
How can you or anyone reconcile that?
How about the state sponsored killings and so on and so forth.
The western world did not kill him but sadism did.

So nigerians have forgotten so soon? is shameless people like you thats will be in position tomorrow and do the same thing. the same government that removed his name from alot of roads, stadium, in Abuja and Lagos, is the same Government that is given him award in his grave. it is uncanny and unpalatable for some one to come here and praise Abacha, a president who died on top of two prostitutes? who died shamefully, using our private jets to fly prostitutes from india? my heart is bleeding, i never knew nigeria has a lot of senseless people on naijapals, we had billions in reserve during Abacha regime, how did it affect you economically? i need an answer from all those A*#S that are praising him here.Sibiatu Abiola wife still weeping in her grave and the 11 years old virgin girl Abacha used for ritual still weeping, or didnt you guys not listen to sgr Rogger testimony in Oputa panel? Soyinka is not foolish to reject the award, Fela family rejected the award, senate president was not even there. Boko haram are busy killing people our Goodluck is busy short listing people he will give satanic award. Nigerians wake up please wake up!!!!
