MY ESCAPE FROM A RITUALIST DEN

My name is Deolu and am an indigene of Lagos, specifically Epe, though I was born in Accra, Ghana, but my parents moved down back home when I was 10. Infact that spurred our coming back to Nigeria, as I never imbibed any yoruba culture My parents were so disturbed about me and thought bringing me back home will help my situation, though it never did as I even became more stubborn growing up in the suburbs of Agege, I joined a local gang called 'the bamboo boys' as the name implies, the bamboo stick was our weapon for war, we held on to it all day and gave everyone the size they deserve whenever we were provoked I left home at the age of 15 and was no 2 in the gang, and hoping to lead one day, I was being feared among my peers as my favourite spot of hitting my enemy during a clash is the knee- I have made countless people to limp, which they will do for the rest of their life, the fear of Deolu is the beginning of Straight walk, I was nicknamed 'the Surgeon', as I helped you repackage your walking style if you trespassed your boundary. It happened this vey day, when I was trying to get a stuff from a friend that stays in ogba, an adjoining town, I should have been suspicious of the occupants of the bus, but I so much believed in myself, the occupant were stern looking men like that, with no female among them, I just waved any tot of them doing me evil, I never had it at the back of my mind that the spiritual transcends the physical, I slept off the moment I entered into the bus and when next I would open my eye, it was in the middle of nowhere, my hands were tied to the my back and my left leg tied to a chain that attached to a big pole I counted like 10 people in the room, I guess 6men and 4ladies, they were all looking like dummies as they were either hypnotised or accepted their fate. I was so weak, I just sat there and kept on wondering how they could have gotten me to that dungeon, I tried to locate my phone, but it was gone as well as my wallet. All of a sudden a man entered who I recognised to be the man beside me in the bus, I felt so furious but was so helpless, he came to where I sat and asked if I recognised him, I just looked him straight in the eye and spat into his face. He landed a thunderous slap on my face and took a Schnapps bootle there in the room and broke it on my Head, I passed off instantly Woke up some minutes later and met myself in an isolated room, the room was dark I could not see my self, for the first time in my life, real fear gripped me, as I could not move an inch fearing there might be loopholes around, I was left in that room for so long 2days must have passed. I was not given anything to eat neither water to drink. I thought of taking my life as that will be better than this infidels uising me as one kind of ritual The door opened all of a sudden and the light almost blinded me, I adjusted to it after some few minutes and saw a very short man clothed in full red attire with some palm fronds around his waist and as well holding a gourd like that which seemed to be making some sound anytime he moves his hand. It was at that moment I noticed my clothe was soaked in blood, which was alredy crusting, I felt like ripping the life of this people, when my attacker entered and told the short man, which I assumed to be the chief priest I was the latest catch that spat on his face The priest placed the gourd on my head after making some incantation, he began to laugh and said I was a good catch, that I should be well fed as my destiny will bring forth dollars and people will be willing to pay millions for my body parts. I got scared the more, and though what a bad way to end my stubborn life, though I knew they would not have me on a platter of gold, at least, I would kill Two among them I was moved to a nearby stream and asked to undress, and ordered to clean up my self which I did and was stylishly looking around to check for any escape route. I was taken back to a small room where I was being fed rice, it tasted good and I wondered why they could do that when it was so certain I was gonna be killed, it later dawned on me that the chief priest mentioned that I was a good catch and should be prepared for the millionaires' bidding

Around dusk, I was taken to a room, which I presume to be the shrine because it was filled with all sorts of fetish stuff. In there I was asked to strip naked and enrobed in a red attire. A white cock was brought in an revolved round me head seven times by a dwarf man, he did some incantations and proceeded to kill the cock, he took a drop of blood and smeared on my forehead, not that I could not resist him as he happened to be the only one in there with me, I assumed I had been charmed, I just stared.


I was then moved into a larger room by dwarfy, in there I saw some other people I was sure had 'good fortune' in their destiny too just like me, there were 3 security guards heavily armed with confirm AK-47s, I knew this was the end as they looked so mean and huge, they would take out the whole WWF Wrestlers in 5minutes

A mat was already prepared on which I sat and was ordered not to mutter any word to other fellow kidnapees, Dwarfy summoned the 3men and whispered to them, they responded simultaneously, saying 'Yes sir' and that made me wonder how dwarfy could be. Could he have been a top leader or they just gave the salutation out of sheer respect

He later left and the room was filled with silence as no one muttered anything to the other person. All the while I was thinking of how I could overdo anyone of the guards and rather de-arm him and take out the other two, but that seemed like a suicide mission, but notwithstanding, I was going to do it, since I was not ready to die.

It got dark , I knew because one of the guards asked if they would have started the champions league matches for that nite, he was trying to complain that he should not be on duty that night when his phone rang, he picked but was not hearing the caller clearly as he turned his back to get good network coverage, as he was trying to get the caller to speak louder, I instinctively stood and rushed towards him, I jumped into the air and hit him with my two legs as it is donE in wrestling matches, he staggered against the wall and his gun fell, I rushed the gun and held it to his head before his colleague could get themselves together

Meanwhile while their attention was focused on me, like the other kidnappees were on clue they stood and hit them hard on the head from behind with some plank fouund in the room, they both passed out with blood gushing from their heads,
