Nigerian Writer, Chimamanda Adichie has denied ever saying that she is a biafran.

She shared the update on her facebook page, saying:

This headline below, and other similar headlines, which appeared on some websites: are false. They are completely invented; along with some accompanying quotes which have been attributed to me. I did not say or write those words.

She didn't deny being a Biafran, she just didn't write the phrase "enough of this political correctness, i am a Biafran and nothing else"

I had my doubts when I heard she made that comment. The truth is now in the open, that she never made such.

Does she have a right to be anything she want to be, every thing is now Nigeria, Biafra. If Nigeria is such a fantastic place, no body needs to be spreading all this phyuk-up stories. let her be afterall she not looking for any political appointment.

It is even shameful to deny your originality. Chi is Igbo word, Mu (abbreviated "M") is Igbo word, Ama-nda (verb) are Igbo words. I guess Chim-ama-nda is a Yoruba or Hausa name - case closed.
