I'm not surprised at some people's reaction to d post. See how long God has been sending his prophet with message of glad tidings and majority of mankind has refused to listen. Look at the World and see the level of deterioration. god help us! :'( :'(

Than what used is pork 2 the world abeg free me nonsense & foolish post.Plz stop all dis religion thing

pork meat is good and there is nothing wrong with. the Bible made it clear that all created by God is good and nothing that goes into a man defiles a man but what comes out of a man defiles man. the group of pigs jesus sent evil spirit into, all was dead according to the Bible. can anyone tell us if there have been anyone killed by pork meat. or is it because of swineinfluesa that appear yesterday? muslims like to broadcast what ever they want, even they said that alckohol is bad, but they drink and drugs more than everyone. i would like to no one problem with pork meat if there is!!! here we eat pork meat together with my muslim friends. muslims should know that pork meat is not cheap. LOL!

The Bible never named the pig as being unclean. It gave guidelines and from those one can decide if an animal is clean/wholesome to eat. For instance, an animal with split hooves and chews the cud is good /wholesome to eat. The cow/sheep has split hooves and chews the cud therefore it is good to eat. The pig has split hooves but does not chew the cud therefore it is unclean. Fish with scales is considered clean while those without are considered unclean. But in the end it claims all is good to eat if you think it is good. In modern times scientists are now finding out that the unclean foods are really not good for our health. Casting evil spirits into the nearby swine has nothing to do with whether the pig is clean/unclean to eat. That's my 2 cents/naira!

the good old book (BIBLE)  also condemns it............

That law was made when there was little or no scientific inventive way of curing or cleaning out pig meat.
scientist are ahead of God?
Science is not ahead of God but, the 21st century is different from those supposedly dark ages. Our dispensation is different. Malaria killed million then, not now.
when last you visit your village clinic? ask them the number of malaria cases booked in a month.

Eat pig if you like. Nobody say you should never eat it being a christian/non Muslim. This is mainly from the Islamic point of view with additional health/scientific views.

SMH!!!

The rules against pork are derived from the Hebrew faith. As I understand, the pork taboo arose because the Hebrews, as nomadic desert dwellers, saw pigs as part of the lifestyle of sinful city folk. It all came from that.
