As the controversy over Timaya’s recent social media spat accusing celebrities of wearing fake clothes continues to generate opinions, Actor, Uche Maduagwu has weighed in his recent instagram post, stated that 90 percent of his colleagues in the industry wear ‘bend down’ select clothes.
The actor made this known in a lengthy post on instgram where he wrote:
Quote
"90% of popular actors and actresses in Nollywood wear Bend down select clothe
I dont want to mention names, i am not giving anyone free #advert here, but 90% of the top actors and popular actresses wear first grade Okrika clothes.
I have been on countless #movie location with these colleagues of mine, so i am surprised to seeing some actors fooling people on red carpet that they were #styled by one big #designer or showing #photos of their expensive clothes, when it is from bend down select.
What most actors do is tell their P.A to go select a particular foreign and expensive designer clothes they take a #picture of #online, these pictures are sent to the people that supply them with these bend down select #clothes, their P.A now select first grade that matches what they are looking for,
i am not trying to expose my colleagues, but if you must rub shoulders with other wealthy Nigerians and #celebs in #fashion, you should also give credit to the Okrika dealers you patronize secretly”

It’s no brainer that almost all Nigerians have come across in foreign countries r damn reluctant or ass pained to bulk on genuine authentic brand ,instead they would buy the imitation version and be showing class .Well ! Ain’t here to say I’m big kid but damn , Nigerians are cheap men !The only thing they value is cars and houses but saying a Nigerian bred on Nigeria soil will bulk on authentic brand is a daydream .First thing those dudes does is converting the market price to naira ,and dem ahh be like ,oh gosh ! That’s millions in Nigeria

And what's wrong with being prudent? You met many Nigerians in foreign land wearing imitations of big brand but do you study the foreigners themselves that they cannot afford the foreign brands majorly? This is why most of you are into crimes despite having a legitimate job.
