I'd long believed--even without being told--that Rhythm 93.7 has an issue with staff retention but was just never able to place it. Hearing Godwin Asuquo, the station's best newscaster for years, on Cool FM's 6:45 AM news this morning further confirmed this belief. Check out (in no particular order) some voices they have lost over the years:

Femi Sowaolu
Paula
Effiong
Momoh Kubanje
Sola Thompson
Fisayo Olanrewaju

I'm yet to be able to identify the issue.

What's worse is the station's lack of program continuity; anytime any of their great voices leaves, they've always been known to have problem sustaining the programs the person who left and the station were known and respected for.

Rhythm isn't alone in this staff-turnover wahala. But let me leave others for another time and, maybe, another venue.
