Among the reasons I personally detest this approach by the Church is the profit they made from the whole arrangement. Frown at that method as you would, the point is that some definite boundaries for the people who are interested in this scheme were set. It was altogether within the prerogatives of these individuals to choose to shift those landmarks. It was interesting that choice to cut corners was entirely left for the parties. They must however not blame the church for their decision to breach the guidlines.

Equally appalling are the legions of so called "prophets" whom those many light minded and gullible people have come to accept as credible people. I believe that this kind of deception is a tell tale sign that one is not sure of his or her salvation. Jesus said that "My sheep hear my voice and I call them by their name". If anyone does not hear him, I personally doubt his or her salvation....That's me!

I am not a member of Zoe Ministries Worldwide but I must lament that they did not consider the hardness of human heart when they floated this scheme. But on the other hand however, I think that rather than altogether lambast this denomination for this scheme, we need to aplaud them that they are genuinely interested in situations that are causing many well meaning citizens so sleepless night. I this that this issue of lack of suitable suitors for people who want to be married is a legitimate societal nightmare that other denominations should be equally be concerned about. But for one group of religious body to make profit out of this problem, is indeed beyond pale.

@ Poster,i guess you are wrong in one way.The owner of the organization called it  Zoe Ministries Worldwide with match-making.He never call it a church. He said it is a match-making center where he gets wife for men who wants to marry and get husbands to women who wants to marry. It is just like a dating center, just as we have online dating websites, where you register and pay with credit your visa card to search for your partner.Any partner you browse and you do not like him or her,you pass and continue searching.

So if this guy is collecting fees to search partners for peoples who cannot find partners for themselves then let it be,if you feel that the system fits you and you want to join ,then your free, the guy is not forcing any one into it.

And from the story you posted, the guy also tell you the truth about the person he is introducing to you.Like the lady that has two kids,a business woman and she is rich and when the reporter meet the lady, she told the reporter the same thing.

The guy also never told them to have sex,he never told them to go to each others house,he only say, meet at the eating centers,go into courtship and know the parents of each other.

thank you my brother, same thought

until we change our orientation about the roles of a woman in society, these things will continue to happen. is it a do or die affair for a woman to get married? if no suitable husband comes along, can't society allow women to be single and still be respected members of society? must women be pushed into searching for husbands by all means necessary? if a woman is well educated and has a good job, but is still single, should she be forced into marriage by societal and family pressures of no one suitable is available?

it looks like you have divorced before, no wonder.
