The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nigeria for France. The presidential candidate and APC stalwart took off shortly after meeting with president Muhammadu Buhari Monday morning. This was disclosed in a statement by his spokesperson, Tunde Rahman.

However, he stated that Tinubu will return 'shortly'. The statement read that, “He is off to Paris, France to hold some important meetings." Recall that Tinubu cliched the APC's presidential ticket to represent the party come 2023 on 8th June, 2022.
