The Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, Chimaroke Nnamani, has filed a lawsuit against the Peoples Democratic Party over his expulsion for anti-party activities.

The former governor of Enugu State filed the suit before the Federal High Court in Abuja on February 7, 2023, few days before his expulsion from the party.

The former Governor who had openly declared support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, which led to his initial suspension from the PDP,  had argued that his support for the APC candidate was because he could not support a northerner to become President after the eight-year tenure of Muhammadu Buhari.

Then move to apc and support their candidate. That is why wike cannot come out and openly support tinubu. That will be the last straw and he will be expelled.
