A Nigerian lady has shared the heartbreaking story of how her brother, Great Ozoemelam, went missing a year ago and how some criminal minded persons threatened her family and even scammed them while searching for him.
In a Twitter thread, the distraught lady said that her brother went missing on July 27, 2022 and that efforts to find him have been quite heartbreaking for them as some persons have seized the opportunity to exploit them and even made insensitive remarks to their faces.
She stated that some criminal minded persons contacted them with claims that they had him with them and asked them to pay bitcoin for a supposed ransom but it turned out that they were fake. She said others even sent threat messages to them falsely claiming they had their brother and would harm him if they fail to pay a ransom. She said they got scammed by the assaialnts and that till this moment her brother is yet to be found.
