It’s a tough situation when residents pay premium rates for services that fall short, especially when they’re promised 20-24 hours of electricity daily under Band A.
Many in Abuja are understandably frustrated with AEDC (Abuja Electricity Distribution Company) for the inconsistencies in supply.
Regulatory bodies like the FCCPC (Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) and NERC (Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission) are indeed expected to act on these matters, ensuring fair treatment for consumers who pay higher tariffs based on the promise of reliable service.
Why is @nercng silent about this injustice? Who compensates Nigerians who cough out their hard-earned money to purchase electricity but are shortchanged in the end???
