Still do not understand why some people still cling to this violent primitive way of life in this 21st century.

What fun do they derive from such festivals? and couldn't they ve made it violent free since they desire to still maintain such traditions?

Personally, i believe masquerade are human beings disguised as spirits. Any masquerade who is conscious enough to kill anyone, should be conscious enough to face justice. For taking an innocent live off the face of this earth, the masquerade should be given life imprisonment. There should be no two ways about it.
