If you don't want to marry fcuk off with that ur money...Because we don't even need it... Nigerian racist the fact that the shortlisted bride price indicates Igbos are for sale does not tag other tribes cheap.....Yorubas are not cheap, get a life. Bullshit!!!

I don't see anything wrong with the list. The culture and tradition of certain people remains their culture and tradition and there is nothing one can do about it. Nobody can change it except the gods of the land beccause the tradition and culture has been there before the new generation came into existence. For the fact that the list and money involve is much, doesn't mean the Bride is being sold. If d Groom is to bring a jar of palmwine and he isn't boyant enough, there is no need to panick. All he has to do is to talk to the parents of the Bride to assist him get that. What I saw in the list is small compare to the list of the Riverine people of Rivers State, that doesn't mean after that, the couple can't feed. Before a man thinks of getting married, he should be prepared and marriage this days is not done by the Groom alone. The Bride and the parents of the Bride supports the Groom in most cases. For me, I think the list is just ok. Men value the most expensive shoes and shirts they have. For those of you who think Ibos sell their daughters because of what you saw in the list, that is a lie. If you trully love a girl, money shouldn't be the problem. Reply

Don't say what you don't know. I'm not an Ibo girl but I have lived with them. I even have then as in-laws. As a woman, I prefer to be married expensively than to be married with Sweet and Chewing gum. Men value their most expensive shoes and shirts.

My brother, some people tink sey wen the Groom pay plenty money mean sey the Groom dey buy the Bride. When man spend money to get something, that alone go make am love, cherish and appreciate that thing. If man marry em wife with sweet, chewing gum, plates and spoons, d man no go value the woman na. Abeg, make una leave them and their tradition alone o. Nobi person sey make una sell una sisters and daughters with sweet, chewing gum and kunu.
