Tyler Deutsch, a 25-year-old father of one, is now being held at the Pierce County Jail for attempted murder after he kept his baby girl in a freezer that was set to 10 degrees and held a half-full bag of ice and a bag of cauliflower for almost an hour because he could not get her to stop crying and then falling asleep.

The 22-year-old mother had left the father at home alone with the baby and, when she returned, she was shocked to catch him trying to sneak the baby out of the freezer.
The 6-week-old child was rushed to the hospital after the mother dialed 911 and, this way, her life was saved.
Sources close to the family say for the aforementioned media outlet that the girl is expected to recover.
The father told the cops that the baby was “fussy” and he couldn’t get her to shut up, which is why he put her in the freezer.
Apparently, the child also had broken bones, so now authorities are looking into the possibility that he might have tried other things as well to get her to keep quiet and not cry.
Tyler James Deutsch, 25, pleaded not guilty to charges of child assault, criminal mistreatment and interfering with reporting of domestic violence and bail was set at $1 million.
