The protesters stormed the Olaiya junction in Osogbo to state a protest against what they called bad governance, lack of infrastructure, extra judicial activities among others.
The Convener of Revolution Now in Osogbo, Osun State capital, Comrade, Olawale Bakare, was on Wednesday morning arrested by operatives of the Department of State Service, (DSS.).
It was learnt that the protesters were staging peaceful address with the police officers at Olaiya roundabout in Osogbo when DSS operatives reportedly swooped on them thereby distrusted the rally.
However, in a video going round the internet shows a young OAU student who was forcefully taken by the police while making a peaceful protest with other.
