There has been an uproar in Emene community of Enugu state after the members of the armed forces and police went to the community secondary school to disperse a gathering of the IPOB who were schedule to have their meeting at the location. The confrontation soon turned violent as the police opened fire on the IPOB members who inturn took to arms to defend themselves. There has been 2 reported fatalities as of the time of filling this report, Gistmania learnt that the 2 fatalities were from the members of the IPOB.
The IPOB and Nigerian military has a very terrible long standing history of violence against each other and the event this morning is the latest of several episodes between these set in the past.
