hia 600 hundred patrol cars? for what ?is it for the whole police in the nation or what
i cannt see the reason why only lagos police need all these number of car for
there re more things more effective to fight crime than buying all the numbers, why dont they empower new technologies  for crime fighting eg, putting cameras,putting traffic lights, power house control units with alarms,re newing police personels, not all these yeye

You don't get it,
Its not the number of vehicles they have but how trained and equiped they are. All the vehicles they have are in a very bad condition, there is no maintenance culture in Nigeria. Here, police vehicles, no matter how old they are, are always as good as new. Look at the ones they have, 80% of the nigerian police can't drive or just don't know nothing about traffic rules.
