Mrs. Okereke-Onyuike allegedly presided over the collapse of the Nigeria capital market through corruption , cronyism and mismanagement according to her predecessor Arumeh Oteh.

On one occasion she spent N186million to purchase of 165 Rolex wrist watches. Today,  Mrs. Okereke-Onyuike returned to the House of Representatives with fingers dripping with diamond rings, gold and her wrists laden with heavy  golden bangles and what appears to be a rolex watch.
