The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Odododiodio constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has promised to bring massive development to the residents of the Odododiodio constituency.

He made this revelation during the launch of his campaign on Saturday at Bukom Square in the constituency in grand style with support from party big wigs and the residents of the community.

Addressing the teeming crowd, Mr. Vanderpuye promised to continue the works of is predecessors when voted into power saying, “I have come to continue from where my predecessors left off. The time has come for us to work. We must unite to ensure victory for the NDC. There are a lot to prove that the ruling party has done enough in this constituency.”

He further urged all Ga-Dangme’s who are members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to defect and join the ruling NDC to bring better improvement in their lives.

According to him, “we have come to improve on the wellbeing of Ghanaians. This is our time. If you are a Ga-Dangme and you are a member of the NPP please defect to the NDC. Their very own Ken Agyapong has called on people to kill us. We have to reject the NPP.”

Nii Lantey Vanderpuye in outlining the his campaign promises stated that “we have lined up six thematic areas to tackle in our second term:

a) Social infrastructural development b) Human resource development C) Sanitation d) Health – the James Town Maternity home will be commissioned as a three-story e) Sports – we’ll establish a soccer academy to produce our future stars

Finally, the James Town cold store will come into fruition next month and the James Town beach will see massive rehabilitation. Don’t be deceived by the NPP. Vote massively for the NDC because we have brought the light.
