listen it doesnt happen like that. something is missing from the information, because your student visa will clearly tell you if you are eligible to work outside the campus or not. and america where i live and work is pretty much like canada.for some reasons i dont know why they claim they didnt know about their status. it is not true. it is the same quest for more money. they should have been informed of their eligibility right from the process of application while in nigeria. and if you must be deported, nobody gives you chance to run and hide and still have the opportunity to write letters and make contacts. something else is the issue her my people.. but if they insist, while they have the opportunity to write and communicate, let them apply for visa to come over here and continue their studies. my wife is an immigration lawyer and i can help them if what i hv read here is actually the situation. my email is [email protected]. i am here in the US. i can sincerely help.[/b][/i][/b][/b][/b] Reply

This issue now is getting them out this jam. Your offer to help them move to USA may complicate things. They are on scholarship, they are young and they don’t look like hustlers. The best solution is to resolve these issues where they are complete their education. They are many avenues to help, the state government (sponsor), the Nigeria High Commission, the parish, the university they are attending and the local immigration consultant who is assisting them for free. I am so confident they’ll win this case as they are not criminals but should they lose then the state government and other government should reconsider sending their students overseas.By the way are you going to take on this matter free of charge?
