this is a tip to the female folks....  no matter the love u may have 4 ur man always insist on having ur own personal account.
u 'll be glad u did @ the long run..  and men should try and understand that u can't always put all ur eggs in one single basket.

we used to have this family friends back in the late 90s.... Now it happened that their father died in an auto crash and the family of the man descended on all they hard and shared all among themselves, living the poor widow and her three kids with almost nothing.... Meanwhile this woman started out with her late husband when the man had nothing and they struggled to get themselves to the level of comfort..... but her husband people drove her away from her matrimonial home simply cos she refused bn a second wife to her late husband younger brother as their tradition demands..   life became hell for them to the point that even her kids almost stop schooling due to lack of funds.....   all these boiled down to the fact that the woman had no savings of her own when her husband was alive cos they both run a joint account which the man's family impounded immediately after his death.    

now tell me had the woman bn running her own personal savings do u think she and her children would ve gone thru such an ordeal?

so i see nothing wrong about a married woman having her own personal account as long as she - out of love - can always update the man on her expenditure.
