31 years ago there was a significant incident that happened in Central Park New York that resulted in 5 African American teenagers jailed for several years on allegations of a crime that they were later exonerated from several years after. Memories of this historic incident was relived yesterday when the vice president of Franklin Templeton, Amy Cooper was confronted by an "African American" male for not putting her dog on a leash as required by the rules clearly posted on the park. Amy Cooper felt she has been disrespected by been spoken to by a human of lower pedigree and immediately threatened to have a cops called on the African American male that has not yet been identified. Thankfully, the African American male had recorded the entire ordeal on his mobile phone camera. Amy made good of her threat and called the cops while crying on the phone and levelling series of false allegations against the African American male.
The entire charade was exposed when the accused African American posted the video online - this exposed the many lies of Amy Cooper and understandably caused a massive uproar online with regards to how several Caucasian women are continually weaponizing racism and using it as a tool against black Americans. Here is a video click of the entire ordeal:
Here is the official response from Franklin Templeton regarding Amy Cooper's conduct:
