389 New Cases of COVID-19 Recorded in Nigeria as Toll Hits Over 12,000

389 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nigeria.

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 66 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 50 in FCT, 32 in Delta, 31 in Oyo, 26 in Borno, 24 in Rivers, 23 in Edo, 23 in Ebonyi, 17 in Anambra, 17 in Gombe, 14 in Nasarawa, 12 in Imo, 12 in Kano, 12 in Sokoto, 8 in Jigawa, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Bauchi, 2 in Kebbi, 2 in Kaduna, 2 in Katsina, 2 in Ondo, 1 each in Abia and Niger states.

Nigeria now has 12233 confirmed cases of COVID19. 3826 patients have been discharged while 342 deaths have been recorded so far.

Government should show Nigerians our own isolation centres to ascertain that these figures are real.
