Nigerian street singer Portable isn’t done airing out his frustration and anger with his senior colleague, Davido.
For some hours now, Portable has been mercilessly dragging Davido, who he hung with a week back in Atlanta and who gifted him a luxury designer shoe.
In an Instagram Live, he claimed Davido gave him bad advice during their linkup. He noted how the music star is signed to Sony Music, yet told him not to sign to the label but should rather sign to Empire and collect advance. He stated that the same Grammy Davido is chasing, he is also chasing it.
Following this, Davido had unfollowed the singer on social media, which left Portable going into another meltdown. In another Instagram Live, he stated that if Davido’s rival, Wizkid, had featured him in a song, he wouldn’t be begging Davido, who he degraded.
In a message to Wizkid, he begged the superstar to give him a verse as he was his brother.

Portable’s relationship with Davido has been tumultuous over the years. Recall that in 2022, Davido and Portable fell off after Portable supported his uncle’s political rival. Portable had backed Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Davido, on the other hand, supported Ademola Adeleke, his uncle and eventual winner of the poll.
Angered by his action, Davido had unfollowed him on Instagram, and Portable had slammed the singer for his action. Their beef didn’t last long as Davido reconciled with him after he publicly apologised to him and re-followed him.
Their relationship didn’t last long as late last year, Portable joined Dammy Krane, who has been dragging the singer for a year, to diss him in a song.
