na wa oh!!! has it gotten to this??? i can't decide what to do to my son again...this can never happen in nigeria
yeah broda, in nigeria is a different ball game but in europe, ur son can  take  u to court if u
even beat him or things like that  even little children can jail their parents
a 6 to 7 yrs old boy can call police for the parents for not giving him what he need or even the neighboughs may call police if
ur kid  is crying

There most be somthing else  to it. No parent will be jailed if both the father and mother decieds on where the child lives
hahahahahahahah, do you think europe is nigeria, they don't joke with their citizens that is why it is not esy to be one, nothing attached, belief me it as simple as you have read it, the only thing is that the boy may have not been taught well, even if your child is a dual citizen or not, try to teach him the way of God while he is young so when he is old he will not depart from it

dis is d negative effect of civilisation..................4 a son 2 sue the mother cos he was sent back home, due to his insubordination.
THE BOY DIDN'T SUE HIS MOM, IT WAS THE UK GOVT THAT WANTED THE BOY BACK IN UK, THE MOM DISCOVER THAT THE BOY IS GOING WAYWARD, HE WAS DISCOVERED TO BE A GAY WITH AN INFLUENTIAL WHITE MAN AND AS A RESULT OF THIS THEY DECIDED TO BRING HIS BACK TO NIGERIA SO THAT HIS LIFE WILL NOT RUIN IN TOTALITY, SO IT IS THIS MAN THAT IS USING THE UK GOVT. TO FIGHTING FOR HIS LOVER BOY TO BE RELEASED BACK TO HIM. THE FULL STORY IS IN SAHARAREPORTERS.COM
If the boy is a UK citizen either by birth...naturalization...or...legally married to the man...he is a subject to UK government...his welfare and business is UK government business. Whatever happen to him is a concern of the government and must be investigated...
The boy has the right to sue the parents for any wrong doing and will be rightly heard by the court...

THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO IT, IN WESTERN WORLD YOUR CHILD BELONGS TO YOU AND ALSO TO THE COUNTRY YOU'RE LIVING IN. IF YOU'RE CHILD DOESNT WANT TO GO TO NIGERIA, YOU CAN NOT FORCE HIM. AND IF YOU WEEP HIM FOR NOT AGREEING WITH YOU AND HE HAPPENED TO REPORT YOU, YOU MIGHT GET A JAIL SENTENCE AND THAT CHILD MIGHT BE GIVEN TO SOMEONE SELSE.

A London woman who sent her teenage son to their native Nigeria because she disapproved of his lifestyle has been jailed for eight months.

Edirin Onogeta-Idogun, 17, from Newham, flew from the UK to Nigeria last July.

Edirin Onogeta-Idogun moved to London seven years ago

His parents Lydia Erhire and John Idogun were issued with a court order to return the boy, who is believed to be with his father in Lagos.

When they failed to do so, Mrs Erhire was convicted at the Old Bailey of being in contempt of court.

Edirin was born in Nigeria but moved to London with his mother seven years ago.

He had been studying for his GCSEs and had been due to transfer to a college in Hackney to study business and media.
'Significant risk'

Last year he feared he may be taken to Nigeria and forced to marry against his will, his solicitors said, and a Forced Marriage Protection Order was issued on 8 July.

He attended school for the final time on 12 July and it is thought he flew to the African country about four days later.

The High Court ruled Edirin was a resident of England and was entitled to continue to live there.

His removal from England was contrary to the protection order and he was at "significant risk" while in Nigeria, it decided.
hmm oh critical!!the woman has no right to disobey court other, the boy most return to UK if she want to regain her freedom.. that's how its,EU don't joke with IT-citizen.as things stand now,the woman is going to loose the custody of her son that's for sure!

MY BRO, THE ONE THAT DIED FROM BUTTOCKS ENLARGEMENT IS NOT GOVERNMENT FAULT BUT THE GIRL'S. IN WESTERN WORLD, ONCE YOU'RE OVER 18 YEARS, YOU'VE THE RIGHT TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT. EVEN YOUR PARENTS CAN NOT CONTROL YOU BUT CAN WORK WITH YOU TO KNOW WHAT YOU NEED.

This na real make-up story! First, this is a family matter which is not tried at Old Bailey except serious criminal matter. The matter would be handled at the Family Division of Court of Chancery. Nametakam, what is your source? Please cross-check before posting bogus story.
